Abhijith (13), son of Vishnu and Soumya, drowned in a temple pond near Mangalassery in Vayalar panchayat Kerala India . The incident occurred on the Indian Independance day morning. Abhijith drowned while taking bath with his friends in a temple pond in Shasthankal. He was immediately pulled out by the locals but died on the way. He was a class VIII student of Vidya Mandir High School.
